Many members of one body

A Bible Study

The Body of Christ
Posting Access:
All Members , Moderated
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body - whether Jews or Greeks, wether slaves or free - and have all been made ot drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.
--1 Corinthians 12:12-14

From your moderator:
I will try my best to post a devotional or Bible study every day, Monday thru Friday. Please feel free to post anything you think would inspire the rest of us to live our Christian lives with a little more direction and understanding into God's Word and His Purpose for us!

My posts will generally be on a different, random topic every day, unless someone requests a certain one. If you would like to request a topic or have any questions, you have 3 options: 1)post it here; 2)reply to one of my posts; or 3)email me at lindsey@musicchick.net.

This is a place where we can post a Bible verse, Bible study or even just a quote we heard that inspires us as Christians, or that we hope will inspire others! If you have a question about Christianity, post it and let us try to help you!

All posts are "moderated" for those who are not members of manyofonebody, but should be approved and appear in the community within a few hours. We hate that this is necessary, but there have been several anti-Christian, anti-religion of any kind really, posts in a few other Christian communities. We firmly believe that, in order for us to live our lives fully focused on God, we need to bar these hateful comments from our reading. We hope you understand.

Please refrain from rude and demeaning comments to other members, as this does not reflect a Christian mentality. Also, if you ever disagree with a post or comment made here, feel free to post your opposition, but please keep these comments civil and informative.

Also, past entries are archived in the Memories section. They have been put into a number of categories to make it easier to search. If you are having trouble finding an entry, please let me know.
